The transmitter is the heart of the system. The transmitter has to deliver a clean consistent signal impervious to interference, otherwise nothing else works. Our transmitters are designed to be the most reliable and flexible units on the market.


Digital Signal
Our unique DM technology produces a digital signal that is impervious to interference from TV’s, garage door openers, wireless networks, and any other electronic signals found in your house.
Digital Display
An easy-to-read digital readout immediately shows you that the fence is running, and exactly where the boundary width is set. There’s no hidden dials used to adjust the boundary, we simply punch in the number and it’s set.
Temperature Safe
Here in Wisconsin we see large fluctuations in temperature. Since the transmitter is usually mounted in the garage, the signal needs to be consistent whether it’s -20º or 100º.
Compatibility
PetStop® transmitters are pre-set to run on our unique DM digital signal. In addition to that our transmitters can be re-programmed to work with nearly every other system on the market whether it’s digital, AM, or FM. Many competitors claim to have the best signal, but ours is the only one that can be re-programmed to run on all frequencies.
Break Alarm
Should the wire ever become damaged, the transmitter will immediately sound an alarm.
Lightning Protection
Most companies have opted to use an outside source for surge suppression. PetStop® engineers felt there had to be a better way, so they incorporated lightning protection into the circuitry. This way both the power supply and the boundary wires are protected from surges.
Quality Control
Products manufactured overseas usually test a small sample of the production run. PetStop® tests each and every transmitter before it leaves the Morgantown, PA factory. This may seem excessive, but we need to make sure everything that leaves the factory works. There is no “acceptable” level of defective products.

The receiver (collar) is the most recognized part of the system. The challenge is to build a small, reliable, attractive unit that will work for all dogs. At 1.3 ozs, the UltraElite® is the smallest receiver available. It’s suitable for use on dogs from 4lbs. to 160lbs.


Customization
Large or small, timid or stubborn, the UltraElite® can be tailored to your dog’s needs. There’s over 5000 combinations of settings that be programmed into each receiver.
SafetyStop®
If your dog ever becomes trapped in the signal field the receiver will shut down until it’s removed from the field.
No Run-Through Technology
As your dog enters the warning zone the receiver will start to beep. If they choose to continue deeper into the zone the receiver will automatically increase the correction level
Omni Directional Antenna
PetStop® uses three antennas inside the receiver to ensure that no matter what angle your dog approaches the line the receiver will pick up the signal. PetStop® is the only manufacturer that uses three antennas.
Compatibility
The UltraElite® is pre-set to run on our digital DM® frequency. If necessary the receiver can be re-programmed to work with nearly every other system on the market, including Invisible Fence®. We currently match systems utilizing digital, AM, and FM signals.
FlashAlert® Low Battery Light
The condition of the battery is constantly monitored. Approximately 2 weeks before the battery dies a light on the receiver will flash continuously until the battery is changed.
Comfort Contacts® and Gentle Spring Contacts®
PetStop® is the only company to offer three different types of probes ( the two prongs that come into contact with the neck). Dog coats come in all lengths and types, so whether you have a Chihuahua or a Husky we have a probe designed for your dog. The Comfort Contact® is a soft conductive rubber probe available in three lengths. Gentle Spring Contacts® are longer spring loaded stainless steel probes used for dogs with longer hair. By adding a spring the probe can flex with the dog’s movements. Original stainless steel probes are also available in four sizes. Eight different probes allow us find the perfect fit for your dog.

Loaded with all of the features found in the UltraElite®, the UltraMax® delivers a significantly higher correction. Rarely used, this receiver is there for that 1 in 100 dog that's really stubborn.
